Lori Mainprize, BSN, RN
Lori was nominated anonymously by ICU co-workers who described her as "exceptional", "great on the phone with family members, explaining everything they need to know in language they'll understand, and showing, through her tone and expressions, how compassionate she feels about her patients." The COVID-19 pandemic has contributed to high patient acuity along with staffing challenges and Lori came in to work on her scheduled days off to help with patient care. Lori's peers concluded with the following statement: "She is helpful to all of her coworkers, kind and informative to all the family members who call, compassionate and empathetic to all her patients."
