Dr. Roscoe is one of the eight founders of the American Correctional Nursing Association, the only professional association for correctional nurses in the United States.

Dr. Roscoe provides consulting services to jails and prisons across the United States, reviews legal matters as an expert in correctional healthcare and correctional nursing. She serves on the committee that revises the American Nurses Association Scope and Standards of Practice for Correctional Nurses.

Through her company, Dr. Roscoe provides online education programming that is specialized for Correctional Nurses. She is a frequent national presenter on a wide variety of topics important to correctional nursing practice.
