Lori Schamback, RN, BSN
Lori Schamback became a Registered Nurse in February of 2000 and joined our team as an FBU nurse in June of 2005. She brought to us an extensive OB background obtained as a travel nurse.
After a few years, Lori joined the Informatics Team and has been our Meditech Educator since. She personally developed the curriculum and logistics of the Meditech training program. She performed Meditech build, managed the EHR regulatory requirements, served in a project manager role for countless projects, and has kept the Informatics team well organized (she is teased about her organization and spreadsheets).
Lori’s nursing career exemplifies the spirit of the DAISY Lifetime Achievement Award. Throughout her career here, she has always ensured that patient care was the top priority. She has been a wonderful educator and resource for the nursing team and a true asset to all of us.
