It was Friday, coming up on the weekend and I was out of medication. Lori Stocks of the Mahomet Carle Clinic took charge of a problem I was having with a communication failure between my Medicare Part D Insurer and Carle Clinic. Instead of just verifying that no communication had been received, she acted on my behalf by calling my insurer and resolving the matter by providing additional information to them so my prescription could be refilled. In my experience dealing with various businesses, I found Lori's assistance to be above and beyond what I usually experience and I am deeply impressed and grateful for her help. She deserves recognition for the extra effort she exercised in seeing the problem through to proper resolution and getting my medication provided in time to not miss a dose.
