A patient who was to be discharged home from 9700 began to have neurological changes that Lori, the Case Manager noticed during her daily check-in with them. She notified the physician who saw the patient and stated they would still be fine to discharge home. Lori persisted due to the evident changes in the patient until additional testing was ordered and subsequently completed. The testing showed that the patient did in fact have a bleed that required a higher level of care. Her persistence saved this patient's life. We are extremely thankful to have Lori as part of the 9700 family.
