Let me first say that all the staff and nurses that I had contact with at Anderson Hospital from Admissions to the GI Unit and even the lady that wheeled me downstairs to my vehicle after surgery were polite, professional, and made me feel comfortable to be in their care. With that said, there was one person, a nurse in the Lori who stood out, met me with a pleasant smile, and went out of her way to even (at my request) let me know approximately how long it would be before I would be taken to surgery and always answered if I had any further questions or needed anything. Lori was the first nurse to make me feel totally comfortable with her confidence and assurance that I would be taken care of and that I was in professional hands during my stay at Anderson Hospital. Lori exemplified the professional, friendly personality and confidence in herself and care for her patient that all patients appreciate during a hospital stay.
