I met Lori when I was her patient in the ICU. My stay in the ICU was completely unexpected after a cardiac procedure. It was a very emotionally and physically difficult time for me. During my stay, all the nurses and staff were caring, professional, and instrumental in my recovery.

Lori, however, really stood out to me. She was very comforting during the times when I was at my lowest both emotionally and physically. I will never forget her sympathetic, caring concern for me and the kind words she said that boosted my spirits. She also told me she was sorry I was going through all this, and it still makes me tear up. She gave me hope that I would recover and be okay!
