Lorie Davis is an RN on the ICU unit. Lorie embodies what it means to be a NURSE. She is consistently thinking of others, may it be her patients or fellow co-workers. For instance, she noticed a younger aged patient in the ICU appearing depressed. Lorie purchased art supplies knowing the patient enjoyed drawing. The next day the patient had drawn a beautiful picture for her nurse. Lorie's dedication, dependability, and compassion shine in so many avenues. She recognizes her peers for their accomplishments and brings forward a culture of comradery to the unit. It definitely does not go unnoticed that her peers, patients, and patients' family members appreciate her.
