Lorna was caring for our 45 year old daughter in ICU/CCU in October when she went above and beyond. Her whole being radiated care, concern and positive reinforcement for our daughter, her father and me. She was genuine in all that she did and was encouraging in her approach to treatment and healing. She made sure that our daughter was as comfortable as possible and that she understood why certain medical procedures were necessary. She even made sure that she had clean socks when she was being moved from ICU/CCU to the step down unit. Although all of her nurses were excellent, Lorna was exceptional! Thank you for having her in ICU/CCU, where she is certainly an asset and a gift to all of her patients and their families. Both professionally and personally she is a gem!
