Lorna Engel, BSN, RN

Core Value Demonstrated: Reverence Lorna has been an RN for a little over two years and, in that short time, has risen to the role of charge nurse, preceptor, and mentor on our night shift. This is now her seventh nomination for The DAISY Award, further demonstrating Lorna’s expertise at not only handling the demands of the unit but being emotionally present in the personal moments of every one of her patients as well. In her short time as an RN, Lorna clearly has attributes that far exceed her years of service.
