People like Nurse Lorna belong in this profession. She made the endless days feel a little brighter and showed genuine concern and affection for my daughter's well-being. She went above and beyond to make sure my daughter was on the way to recovery. She showed concern for my mental status as well after seeing the stress and overwhelming state I was in after being here so many days. She spoke and treated my daughter as her own and not like another sick child. She made sure my daughter got to participate in activities and even brought my husband and me coffee one morning after a long night. I am truly grateful for all of her efforts and will forever be thankful for the smile she put on my daughter's face.
