Lorraine Arner, RN

Lorraine Arner is the superuser for Meditech Patient Care System. There was an issue around 5:30 pm; the PACU nurses could not access the assessment that they needed to do. I was unable to come back to the hospital. I called Lorraine to see if she would know why this was happening and she had the answer. It was determined that the PACU nurses could use paper charting for the patient. The weather outside wasn't the best, but Lorraine came in from her home in New Carlisle to fix the issue for PACU and stayed to make sure an inpatient could chart on the same assessment. This is just Lorraine, what she does all the time for the staff and ultimately the patient. She is highly committed to her patients and her peers. I have worked with Lorraine for many years dating back to 1985 and she has always exceeded job expectations.

This is just what Lorraine does- she is always so helpful and is a team player. She will do anything for anyone. She also decorates the unit for each holiday and is a charge nurse on the inpatient unit. Lorraine is amazing!
