While having knee replacement and recovery, Lorraine not only followed the normal routine of her nursing responsibilities but she went above and beyond showing compassion and respect. Some examples were holding my hand while a physician was attending to rebandaging my leg during a pain level of 9 at the moment. As I squeezed her hand so tightly due to the pain, she never pulled away. Another example, throughout my stay she not only explained every procedure but gave me support the whole time and encouragement.
