Lorraine is a Sister on Allerton and all I can really say is she is fantastic at her role and with her staff. She includes everyone within the team and tries to assist them with whatever learning with the patient focus at the centre where and when the opportunity happens.
For me, Lorraine has a personal touch on her delivery of care towards me; she has shown all her patients empathy and compassion but for me previously, she has gone beyond to help with not only my medical treatment but yet that of my Mental Health as I haven't been in a steady place and she is always there to pick me up and try and comfort me the best she is able to. She is always smiling and has the key principles of the job in the centre of her heart. She is an absolute asset to the NHS and the ward in which she works. She has the respect of her colleagues and certainly speaking from my experience that I've seen her patients. She has an excellent bedside manner and understands what her patients require and need. She has supported me through some rough times since I have been a patient and I am so, so thankful for this support. I feel that she has been a superstar to me and my treatment.
