Lorraine is an excellent nurse. She is friendly to all staff and patients, she is kind and remains calm and friendly no matter how demanding the day. Lorraine was so lovely when I was a patient on the ward undergoing treatment for Cancer. She was exceptional, good at her job, and very balanced, yet supportive to her team. Lorraine genuinely cares for her team, and that the patients are well looked after. She is an excellent mentor and ensures her team is well trained, on-top of an extremely demanding schedule, and that all work is completed with a smile. Thank you, Lorraine! Your energy is positive, happy, and bright throughout the ward and made such a difference to me. Lorraine has worked at Walsgrave for over 20 years, she is cheerful and full of beans. She made time for all the patients and made time to stop and chat, and lifted their spirits. She noticed the small yet important things for patients and got them sorted. Lorraine was approachable and warm and made a huge difference to me to my time on the ward. I felt safe and trusted her judgments at a time when I was poorly, vulnerable, and scared.
