Lorri Jameson has been a great mentor, supervisor and friend for many years. She’s always calm and thinks situations through. She makes you want to always do better for the patients, hospital and the other staff we work with. She’s so supportive and teaches in a calm, sincere manner. It makes me proud to work for MHS and I always look forward to coming to work. She’s the best supervisor I’ve ever worked with.
She’s always a great resource in PICC’s and basic nursing. Because of Lorri, MHS received the Center of Excellence status. Nurses come from all over the Western United States to train placing PICC lines. Also MHS was chosen for several trials on new equipment, also encouraged by Lorri (Sapiens and 3CG technology which will eliminate chest xrays for line confirmation thus lowering cost and decreasing radiology exposure to patients).
She is the most knowledgeable person I’ve met since learning about vascular access and has expanded my knowledge. With her encouragement and excitement regarding our PICC team, all members received certification in vascular access. Lorri was so strong during the many staff and administrative changes within the PICC team over the years.
