My grandson, whom I have adopted, suffers from PTSD and neglect, he has a small caliber bullet lodged in his head and suffered a concussion during a kickball game. He was confused, dizzy, nauseated and very scared. His nurse, Louis, was awesome, kind and communicated with him on his level-even though we were only in the ER for a few short hours. He calmed and comforted my grandson. He even talked him into going to do his CT scan without me. He suffers from an attachment anxiety as well (he can't sleep alone, he must always have me in his range of vision). Our ER nurse was awesome and just what a 10-year-old boy who doesn't have a consistent male presence in his life needed. Thank you and God Bless.
