We currently have a baby in our unit whose mother died right after delivery. Mother was having CPR performed while baby was born.
The father of the baby told me that all nurses are great here but that Lovelyn was a great example of how all nurses should be - she is kind, consistent and empathetic to our situation. She has been busy with her assignments but her demeanor has not changed. Her peers make the same comments "she never gets frustrated" "she is always kind,pleasant & professional.
