I want to express how Miss. Deen has impacted my life. I was recently admitted to the Hospital due to unexpected circumstances, which were upsetting to me, as I have my underlying illness. I had recently had surgery; I thought I was done with surgeries for a while (hopefully forever) but I was brought to the hospital with what I thought was a complication from the surgery, but as it turned out my shunt needed a new surgery (revision) which was devastating. Deen took the time to sit with me and pray with me. She helped me process what was happening. I want Deen to know how special she is and how special she made me feel and how lucky Halifax Health is to have her. Her love and compassion show.
