This was not the first time Danielle took care of me. When I was seven months pregnant, I was sick with the flu. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I came in every day for a week. She was so sweet and did everything in her power to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed.
Danielle also took care of me when I came in to give birth to my son. I could not have been happier. She came in maybe every thirty minutes to make sure I was comfortable and would always ask if I needed anything. I never once felt like I was a burden because I was very needy both times during my stay. She was there the day I delivered my baby. I had to have an emergency C-section. Before the C-section she constantly came in my room flipping me from side-to-side, bringing me water, changing my sheets, literally waiting on me hand and foot. Never once did she not have a smile on her face, and you could tell she wanted to be there.
The night of the emergency C-section Danielle kept my family and me informed of everything that was going on. There was never a moment of uncertainty. My family and I felt comfortable because of her. Not only once have I seen her go above and beyond her duties but the whole time I was in the hospital for the delivery.
Because of Danielle, I will forever remember this great experience that I had at the hospital in 29 Palms. Nurses should strive to be like her every day; she is the epitome of what a health caretaker/nurse should want to be like. These words cannot even describe how thankful I am for her and her kindness towards my family, my baby, and myself.
