LTJG Stark was our nurse during our Friday-Tuesday stay and was absolutely amazing. Any and all requests were quickly taken care of. My concerns were noted and passed from each shift to the next; because of this, I believe she quickly saved both of our lives when "code purple" was called and I was taken down the hallway to the Operating Room. Many members took their time to comfort my husband and my mom as we left. She held my hand while I was visibly terrified. She carefully explained everything during labor and was constantly popping in afterward to make sure comfort was a priority along with safety. She stayed long after her shift was over just so she could check on us. Her heart shows it was not just another job or patient. The amount of effort and time she put into our experience shows just how unbelievable she is as a person and nurse. We will always remember our daughter's birth story because of the treatment and experience we received under her care.
