What really encouraged me to nominate the great nurse Lu'ay was my deep feeling that he is a dedicated, energetic and humble nurse. Lu'ay doesn't give up on his patients, and he responds to people's frowns by giving unconditional care and smiles.
I passed through hard times when my son was very sick and under treatment in the Surgical Oncology Unit. Lu'ay was doing his duties perfectly and taking care of my son. He was absolutely calm and able to absorb my anger. At one time I was devastated and under great psychological pressure. I couldn't control my anger and started subconsciously yelling, but Lu'ay was able to calm me down in seconds with his kindness.
