Lucas Luchonok, RN

Lucas really uplifted my mood.  I was hospitalized for almost 6 weeks.  During this time, I had a hard time mentally as well as physically.  Lucas was my nurse for about 3 days, and during those days, he lifted my spirits with his extensive knowledge of the care provided through thorough explanation.  He also had a fighter's spirit that he saw in me when I had given up and would not let me quit.

He boosted my spirits to fight again, to keep moving through the adversity, making me laugh, teasing me at times and being almost the big brother I never had.

Even on days he didn't have me, he would check in and help me with whatever I needed.

I'd like to nominate Lucas for his passion and dedication to his job.
