Lucia Gutierrez, BSN, RN

Lucia went above and beyond to make my mother's last days comfortable. She enabled all my siblings and me to be present for my mother, and the caring she showed our whole family was so special. We really believe that having our whole family at my mother's bedside gave my mother the strength to live a few days beyond the doctor's prediction.

Lucia always had a pleasant and compassionate attitude about her, and a smile was always within seconds of appearing.

We also appreciate how she spoke with our rabbi to be able to follow our religious laws when it came to dealing with my mother and her passing. That is definitely something only a nurse who cares would do.
