Lucy showed care and love to me each and every day and went out of her way to ease my suffering. She was attentive to all of my needs. She was thoughtful, empathetic, kindhearted, and was the shining example of all that a nurse can and should be while at Rhode Island Hospital. Lucy empathized with how much pain I was in and made a point to get my medication before shift changes so that I would not have to wait. She got things to ease my cough without me even needing to ask. She anticipated what I might need and made sure I had everything. Furthermore, Lucy communicated promptly and effectively with my doctors and my family. She helped my family to feel comfortable with the care that I was getting. Lucy is absolutely fantastic at being a nurse and most of all at being a wonderful person.
