Recently, a Rapid Response was called on a patient in distress. The doctor ordered anxiety meds and the patient's home CPAP machine was brought in. The patient remained on the unit. Lucy kept monitoring the patient and just "felt something wasn't right." She called the MD and gave him her thoughts. Upon re-evaluating the patient, he quickly deteriorated and was intubated and sent to ICU. Lucy's knowledge and persistence saved this patient.

She is an asset to her floor and to TriHealth!
