Lucy had me as a patient immediately post operation for two nights. We quickly got past the fact that I am a retired consultant who worked in this hospital before she was born. Lucy was kind, considerate and extremely caring when I was feeling very vulnerable and fragile, having had a life-threatening major procedure.
Lucy is a credit to nursing and exceeded all expectations of care. I should know, as my wife is a retired director of nursing, so double pressure on Lucy. I think Lucy is probably an unsung hero who deserves recognition.
