My partner has severe anxiety about hospitals, so keeping him in is a big task. He came in with severely damaged hands and Lucy has made my partner feel at ease; anything he has asked, she has helped with a kind, caring, compassionate attitude. If it wasn't for her looking after him, I doubt he would have stayed, but he has. He's a very stubborn and proud man; and due to his PTSD and personality disorder from being let down so much and being treated badly by professionals, asking for help is a big deal. She has changed his and my own opinions and helped us realise that there are actually professionals who don't see or treat you like a number in the system. She's amazing and we are truly grateful for everything, especially her patience and kindness. She is a true DAISY Nurse and is special and goes that extra mile for her patients.
