I had a really heartfelt conversation with him that changed my outlook on myself and the decisions I make daily with dealing with anxiety. He treated me with care.
Nurse Ahumada is one of the most heartwarming, grateful, caring nurses I've ever had in my life. Starting off I had gone to the ER for strep throat. When I was evaluated by a different nurse, he had told me my bpm was in the 180s and transferred me to a code room just in case something life-threatening happened to me. I am prone to having some anxiety in the hospitals, so that also contributed to my bpm being so high.

After I was transferred to a different part of the hospital after being monitored to make sure I didn't have any serious life-threatening issues, I was transferred to a different nurse, and this is when Nurse Ahumada came in with a huge smile on his face and saw how high my bpm was, and asked me, "Do you struggle with anxiety?" I said yes, he then had a full conversation with me and told me that he saw a lot of potential in me, and said, "Please don't give up. I see so much in you." I didn't even know this nurse, and I feel like he knew everything about me. The fact that he spent his time to reassure me and check up on me in a timely manner means a lot. Whenever I would ring the call light, he would be there within seconds to be at my care. Not a lot of nurses would do the things that he did for me. He was very patient and understanding. If I could recommend or give a rating for how well this nurse treated me, it would be more than a 10 out of 10. I also had a really heartfelt conversation with him that changed my outlook on myself and the decisions I make daily with dealing with anxiety. He treated me with care. If I needed anything, he would be there and get what I needed. If I were in pain, he would be there.

Overall, I had the best experience with this nurse, and this nurse deserves everything in the world that he can get. Not a lot of people get to experience the conversation or the bedside help I had. He is definitely one of the good ones, thank you.
