Mi esposo fue diagnosticado con cáncer de páncreas, a partir de ese día iniciamos una travesía tremenda por un mundo desconocido… luego de la cirugía de Whipple mi esposo estuvo varios días en terapia intensiva, ese tiempo fue uno de los más difíciles para él, pero Luis se convirtió en su gran apoyo, todas las dudas clínicas que mi esposo tenía se les resolvía y apoyaba para mejorar sus condiciones de salud, gran calidad humana y empática. Luis hizo de esa sala obscura días de luz. Estaremos eternamente agradecidos con ese enfermero que conocimos.

Translation:

My husband was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. From that day on, we began an incredible journey through an unfamiliar world. After his Whipple surgery, my husband spent several days in the intensive care unit. That period was one of the most difficult times for him, but Luis became his greatest source of support.

Luis answered every clinical question my husband had and encouraged him as he worked to improve his health. He demonstrated tremendous compassion, empathy, and human kindness. Luis turned those dark days in that room into days filled with light.

We will be forever grateful to the nurse we had the privilege of knowing.
