My mother was present at UNM. My mother had already had a massive brain bleed and heart attack. We started at the heart hospital, transferred to another facility, and ultimately UNM. We arrived right before evening shift change.
Luis was extremely thorough and respectful. My mother had a very bad night and he was very patient and caring. He spoke very honestly to us. His compassion for my family and mother was amazing. We could not have received a better nurse and he exceeded anything I could have imagined in our time of need.

I want everyone to know Luis is amazing. His strength gave us strength. I thank UNM and its staff for making the hardest days of my entire life manageable. Luis, thank you for your kind heart. God bless.
