From the moment I came out of the anesthesia, Luis Martinez anticipated my every need. He is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and hardworking. However, what impressed me the most and made the biggest impact was his ability to put me and my family at ease by treating me with dignity: I was made to feel "normal" in a situation that is anything but normal. His compassion for what he knows his frightened patients are going through actually brings a comforting level of humanity to what could easily be a simple transactional and antiseptic relationship. Luis clearly has a passion for his work and is a credit to this hospital. I can emphatically state that my recovery was hastened because of his excellent care. I wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
