On Wednesday, I had a double mastectomy. Luis took care of me, and as soon as he came into the room, he stood out. He was very, very attentive. He noticed my lips were dry and got vaseline and put some on my lips. I was in so much pain. I couldn’t even move my arms. He gave me exactly what I needed, and I didn’t even know it. He brought ice packs for my chest and plenty of pillows for my arms to keep me comfortable in bed. He was on top of my pain meds and pushed fluids. He was very hospitable to my husband as well. I stayed two nights, and no one compared to his attentiveness and general nurturing characteristics.
