Luisa Valenzuela and I were taking care of a vascular patient in the ICU. On that day, the patient was discharged, so his wife was dropped off at the hospital so she could drive his car and the patient back home (since he drove himself). Unfortunately, the patient could not remember where she parked, so Luisa went out of her way to help them find the car on a hot afternoon. Her commitment and advocacy goes above and beyond to help veterans.
