As a new employee in my role as Pain Nurse Specialist, I interact with all the staff across the units. It is during these times that I have encountered Ms. Luisa, who always has a lovely welcoming manner on the unit. She is always friendly, professional and helpful with colleagues and peers. I have seen her interact with many members of the MDT, she treats everyone with the same manner, always a smile and a friendly word from her.
I have been impressed with her communication and bedside manner with patients. She treats patients with great respect and dignity. She always takes the time to explain everything fully to patients prior to carrying out any care/procedures. She is very empathetic and tries hard to put patients at ease.
She is a pleasure to work with.
