Luke Jones, RN

Luke is an excellent nurse both clinically and has an excellent rapport with his patients. He took care of me two nights in a row. The first night, I had an older roommate who happened to be a retired ICU nurse. This poor woman kept getting conflicting information from everyone involved in her care. Luke respected that she used to be a nurse, and she was very knowledgeable. Luke took the time to go through her chart to try and clarify the information. He talked to her like a fellow nurse. He made phone calls to her doctors to clarify the contradicting information. She was so relieved and so appreciative of what he did that she was finally able to sleep. He is a nurse that goes above and beyond for his patients. So, I think he deserves this award!
