Every nurse my 29-year-old autistic son has had has been kind, caring, and professional but Lulu is outstanding! Lulu was clearly a busy bee running everywhere, taking care of her patients the days he had her but, she made the time to be sure he felt listened to, understood, and that what he was feeling, mattered. Lulu helped to communicate with the doctors when he struggled and kept me in the loop. She helped to support me as his caregiver, ordering parent trays so I could stay with him while he needed reassurance. I don't know how she found the time, but, she did and her steadying presence help him so much. I can't thank her enough.
