My husband has dementia and sometimes he’s confused. We went in for cataract surgery. My husband didn’t really know what to expect. Luv came into the room and basically rescued me, because my husband was questioning me about the procedure. She greeted both of us and proceeded to explain everything that she would be doing and also what he could expect during the cataract surgery. It was truly a relief for me as well as a calming effect for my husband. She exhibited patience with my husband and reassured him everything would be alright.

He has a walker that is to be used because he is unsteady and a fall risk. She went out of her way to encourage him to use his walkers to avoid falling down at home she explained his blood sugars, pressure, and everything that she was doing for him because he had a lot of questions. She took the time and she indulged him and answered all his concerns, even the questions did not pertain to eye, cataract surgery. She was kind, patient, considerate. Her tone of voice was soothing and reassuring. I was told I could wait in the room for him. Luv offered me water, tea, which was a beautiful gesture. Thank you, Luv, for your kindness.
