My wife and I had our little boy at Ochsner Medical Center - West Bank. The entire staff was attentive to our needs throughout the whole process. They made us feel like we were their only patient. Lyanne cared for us and our child exceptionally well. It was clear from the onset that she was passionate about caring for babies, and had experience beyond the scope of time. She went out of her way to care for us in every way possible. For example, we had to keep our room warm room for the baby, and after we mentioned conversationally our slight discomfort she showed up moments later with a fan from her personal locker. When my wife asked for water, she always brought me one too. She was keen to listen to us when we were unsure about what to do, and even gently encouraged us to ask questions about how to provide the same accurate, succinct, and loving care as she did with our child. I may not know her personally, but Lyanne will always occupy a special place in our family's heart!
