I am soon to be a father here on the Delivery floor at Lakeland Regional Health and I would have never guessed I would be so comforted and put to ease on the day of my son's delivery. Lydia was absolutely wonderful with my fiancé when she was worried beyond belief because this is our first child and we were both scared to death. Lydia comforted my fiancé in a way I couldn't even comprehend and even made sure I was ok during the process. Unfortunately, her shift ended and she was not here for the delivery to meet our son, but I've never felt so comforted - let alone on one of the most stressful days of any parent's life. Lydia absolutely made it even better and my fiancé and I will never forget this wonderful human being and are forever grateful for the time spent with us. Her professionalism was through the roof and her compassion maxed out! She is a phenomenal nurse and a wonderful human being.
