I met Lydia post-hysterectomy surgery day 1. She walked into my room and clearly saw that I was upset. I was feeling overwhelmed and having pain. Lydia sat right next to me, gave me all her attention and let me just vent, cry, complain, etc. She was the best comfort and she gave me exactly what I needed. I have been an oncology nurse for 12 years and I have met a lot of nurses. Lydia is the definition of what compassionate means. She is an exceptional nurse. Her kindness helped me recover from my surgery so quickly and I'm forever grateful.
