Lyn goes above and beyond to ensure her patients' needs are met to the highest standard. Her work ethic and motivation are phenomenal and she brings up the staff morale on the whole ward.
I have worked alongside Lyn for 3 years now and the amount of dedication and commitment she shows towards her staff and patients is amazing. She will always fight for our staff to ensure we are safe to look after our patients and to create a safe environment for ourselves. Lyn was originally the band 7 on J12 but stepped down and now only works part-time as a band 6 but her leadership skills and work ethic are amazing. She really pushes me to achieve my full potential, even when I don't see it myself. When she is on shift you know your day is going to be good just because of the spirit she brings. She makes you feel valued. She proves to be a DAISY Nurse through her years of hard work and the work she continues to do.

I have worked with Lyn for an amount of time now and I have never seen such compassion for both patients and staff as Lyn has. Each and every individual is unique and important to Lyn. She goes above and beyond to ensure her patients' needs are met to the highest standard. Her work ethic and motivation are phenomenal and she brings up the staff morale on the whole ward. Any problem Lyn can solve, nothing is ever too much for her to handle. I have complex learning disabilities and Lyn has supported me through my nurse training both intellectually and emotionally. As someone with very little self-confidence, she has made me believe that I will achieve great things with hard work. If I become half the nurse Lyn is I will be super proud of myself.

Sister Lyn has been my mentor for the duration of my Nurse apprentice course and continuously gave me guidance and support. After being involved in a critical incident, Lyn went above and beyond to give me support during a difficult time which was also given out of hours of work. Lyn is a member of staff who always shows appreciation to all staff members always and doing everything within her power to provide the best possible care for patients and also staff within her care, nothing is ever too much.
