My 77-year-old mother was brought into the Emergency room very ill, she recently had had a surgery 4 days prior at another facility and was bleeding quite considerably from her wound, she had a fever of 104 and was struggling to breathe. My mother ended up having Emergency surgery that evening. It was so chaotic when my mother was brought in and she was in such pain. My sister and I were scared that my mother was dying and felt so helpless. Linda Braun was the nurse that attended to my mother and was like an angel. She made us feel that our mother was in good hands. The compassionate caring way that she treated our mother when she came in to take care of her and the tenderness that she showed her will never be forgotten. She made an extremely difficult time more bearable.
