Lynda holds herself to a high standard and also challenges those around her to do the same.
Lynda Priest has delivered care to this community for over 25 years. She has done this while truly living our mission. She is the fiercest advocate that I have had the pleasure of working with. The decisions that Lynn makes will always be "what would you do if this was your family member " as a challenge question for those around her. Her communication is collaborative and respectful. The standard of care that she gives and expects from those around her is exemplary. Her bedside manner is an example for all those around her. She uses any negative outcomes as an opportunity to improve a process and will be a leader on the improvement process. She has mentored many nurses in her career and the nurses will hopefully become more compassionate by her example.
You become a better person just working beside Lynda. I am so thankful that she is part of my team and rest assured that all of the patients in her care will receive the highest standards of care. Her coworkers are lucky to have her as part of the team because she will have your back as you were her family.
Lynda has worked under the direction of the cardiologist to help create the model of nurse supervised stress testing. The protocols developed align with our ministry's high standard of care.
Lynda is the most dedicated patient advocate that I have had the pleasure of working with. Every decision or problem that she encounters, she always puts the patient’s best interest first. This ministry is very fortunate to have a nurse that is such a fierce advocate for our patients. Her example is truly an inspiration to those around her.
Lynda collaborates with sonographers, cardiologists and the floor RNs to continue to provide exceptional care to our patients. She is respectful and dedicated and creates an environment that is positive for all of those who work with her.
