After surviving a horrific heart attack in 2016 I was told to go to Cardio Rehab, so I did at NVRH. I was hesitant and fearful as I was going into an unknown with a near-death experience heightening my fears. My goal was to get back to life as I knew it or as near as possible. This nurse made me feel so comfortable and assured. She has a special skill of communication and exemplifies the most positive and kind attitude. She calmed my fears and worked with me both physically and mentally. Her classes were so informative and helpful. She didn't give up on me, so I did not give up on myself. She was just what I needed to transition back to a good life again. It has been over three years and after some other health challenges, I am still receiving care and motivation from this nurse. Through her I am living a quality life, in fact, I have gotten my life back! Being in cardio rehab three days a week has also allowed me to be a spectator when new people come in and I watch this nurse do her magic and get them back on their feet. Her talent to work with patients is amazing. Like the energizer bunny, she keeps on going. In closing, not only am I grateful for her help but my whole family is too! To be able to have my makeover and to watch her work with others, and bring them along is amazing. Kudos to this nurse and thank you from my old fart heart. God bless you. Thank you NVRH for this program and this nurse. So greatly appreciated. With my deepest gratitude... Keep ON Smiling...
