Lyndi Wood, RN

I had full hip replacement surgery yesterday. Lyndi was the nurse for my pre-op and post-op. This is like visiting somewhere before our country fell apart. I can be a pain in the ass at times, especially if it will be painful. I had a reaction to the meds and became nauseous. I felt like she was there the whole time. Professional, caring, engaged. I must have been a sight. While what I described may not warrant a major award, what she did the following day does so in my book. Around lunch time, there was a knock on the door, and in came Lyndi. She said she wanted to check on me because of my tough day of surgery. I was in shock and my eyes watered, but I don't think she saw. She took time from her break to come to see me. This is how things used to be in most businesses. What she did for me today is exactly what is missing from society today. Award winning.
