My wife delivered our beautiful blessing of a daughter Monday morning. Tuesday we were delivered a bombshell that our perfect little baby might have some form of Downs Syndrome. There was no reason given, we had no clue. It was a total shock and a drastic change to our emotional state. My wife was extremely upset and fearful for our precious little girl. What should we expect, how did this happen, what did we do, all the questions in the world with no answers. My Grandma always said, Downs Syndrome babies are Angels sent from God and I believe that is the case with our adorable baby. My wife agreed that she was born into a family that will give her all the love the world has to offer, but she had concerns for our baby. One of our nurses, Ms. Lyndsay Poe changed that. She answered every question, she told us where to research other than google. She helped us figure out how to get A to eat better. She offered to help research. She went above and beyond to help with our daughter and to ease our concerns. She was able to give my wife peace and calm in her mind and for that, we are extremely grateful for nurse Lyndsay!
