These many rapid changes in my brother's condition were highly distressing. Informed, irreversible decisions needed to be made quickly. Even when my brother was moved from Lyndsey's unit to the ICU, Lyndsey continued to follow up with the ICU staff regarding his condition. Additionally, when she went on vacation, she remained in contact, inquiring about his progress. On the day that my brother was being released from the hospital, Lyndsey even met us at the entrance to say goodbye, will her eyes welled up with tears.
