Lyndsey Fluharty, RN

Lyndsey Fluharty did an awesome job catching the neurological changes with a patient after a fall that resulted in an emergency situation and the need for surgery. The outcome for this patient could have been much worse if it wasn't for her being awesome and a prudent nurse. She did a phenomenal job in discovering that a problem was apparent. She acted very quickly by getting the patient emergency services at a local hospital. The patient was care flighted to another hospital in a major city once they realized the need for surgery. We are very proud to celebrate this phenomenal nurse with the DAISY Award as a small token of our appreciation.
