We had the wonderful opportunity to have Lyndsi as our daughter's nurse. Lyndsi exhibits all of the qualities of a wonderful nurse. She was kind, caring, patient, playful, and sympathetic. Several times we were confused about our daughter's plan of care. She spoke up for us and helped us advocate for our sweet girl. She never hesitated to call the physicians when we had a concern. She took time out of her busy days to get to know us and our story. It made us feel like she cared about us as a whole. In everything she did we could tell that her job is more than a career to her, it is her calling to be a pediatric nurse for OSF and to carry out the mission each shift she works.
